Back ats ya dude Ho Ho Ho

 

Duccmann, We got pounded with "at my House" in Taylorsville with 14" of snow Christmas day. My Parents in Holladay had about 3 more inches. My Dad, while I was at worked xmas eve day went into a dfib and almost in cardiac arrest and I was not aware of until later that night, but he had the instinct to take himself to the E.R. and avoided a massive Heart attack. We Cancelled Xmas with him and my mother who is sick as hell and puhcking. He got home after being shocked into a good heart rhythm luckly that night. I got up early "for me 10am" hoping that he was not a "extremely stubborn Dutch 74yr old man" to try to plow his walks and driveway. Yeap he was. He stated that he wanted to make sure that he could get the car out if he needed to take my mother "his wife" as he put it, to the hospital if needed. Kicked him inside and finished the job. People of old are not like those generations born after 1970's. I visited with them today and me and my brother put the hammer down on him. Take care of mom and we will take care of everything else. I thank god that I have my father today and did not loose him on Christmas. It was a Christmas miracle for me and the family. (oh then he started to school me on the workings of a snow blower and how not to break the blades threw the window at 25 degress and being 49) ;-)

I had a holiday of thankfulness. See my reply to Duccmann. I really did not have fun but I did have the Holiday spirit due to the post I mentioned. I look forward to meeting you and riding along with duccmann and Mr. Barrett and anyone else this coming riding season in Utah or surrounding areas. (Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico) I would like to see if any of us could get a ride scheduled so I can ask for time off to do so. Take care anne and call me Mike. Call name on this site is a reference to my lost Weimaraner of 15yrs. No kids just this dog that I lost to call one.

 

Prayers to the whole family there bud, love um and let they know there loved everyday--- lost my Dad,sister and Mon this year----glad you Dads a strong old geezer.... they don't make um like they used to.

Whoa,, what a Day Glad it worked out for the better. Yea there's something about old school work ethics, some are worthy attributes, some not so. just coming from stubbornness. I get it. Have had a few run ins trying the work smart part with my Dad being 83. He even this day could work a 20 something into the ground. Heres for a Happy New year and prayer for your Mom.

 

Hey Ducc, I am so sorry that I am posting of a possible loss when you have already had so much! Love and thoughts your way and thank you! For you to respond with the amount of loss you have experienced it is amazing you would post what you did. I really need to meet you! Take Care brother!
