FYI - In 1999 I bought an RC45 with 600 miles on it. On the dyno, it put out 112hp all stock, then 121hp w HRC ECU and Two Brothers slipon bolted onto the end of the production exhaust. I left it alone after that because it would require $67,000 in HRC kit parts [not including labor] to bump it up to then-current 750cc superbike class output of 168hp.

Yes exactly just a few items is all it takes to get out most the factory power and that last 5% cost 10 times as much as the first 90 and it has no real purpose for a recreational rider. Dyno is nice to know but really is not as important except to an idiot that needs a number and misses the point of the overall objective is to gain control over the bike, including all the reasonable power, but as usual the entire racing phenomena distorts the objective and direct people in a direction where they unreasonably tend to over-compensate, overspend and get involved with the wrong people. I would want absolutely nothing to do with anything having to do with racing it's a total waste of time and money

The dyno runs were critical to setting the fueling and ignition to

[1] protect the engine of a rare and valuable motorcycle by obtaining tangible feedback of rich/lean states and ignition timing and

[2] make adjustments based on hard data to deliver linear power and torque.

Only 50 RC45s were imported to the US in consumer trim. I would not have touched that motorcycle's engine, exhaust, or ECU without a dyno.

The point your missing is that you're claiming these bolt on items are adding "X" or "Y" HP to your bike and the only reason people are asking for Dyno numbers is for proof of what you're saying. So if you would STOP saying how much HP you're bolting on and just say how much better performing your bike is, no one would even have to argued with you.

I know that's why I opt for OEM ECU G combined with a PC3 Euro Fuel Map with similar overall configuration, it's all right there at this point just like it was almost there for you back then

Was that HRC ECU tunable for ignition timing and fuel? Do you by chance still have the dyno sheet?

Aaaaaah know it CRRC46. Just wanted to add one more sheet of paper to a pile of, what say, 1000-ish informed responses...

Except "true enlightment" reflects "consistency" and that's where the entire Dyno theory ends up in the ditch. Let's say I take my bike to 10 Dyno centers, would each provide me with the exact same results YES or NO ?

No one is asking for you to take it to 10 Dyno centers, only to provide proof. True enlightenment comes from knowledge and knowledge comes from facts, so unless your numbers are factual, there is no enlightenment.

CRRC46 - I gave all my data to my friend Stan when he bought the bike. Larry in Sacramento has a ton of RC45 data, including data on this one, serial #00010. Stan may have given Larry the paperwork. Larry tracks any and all RC45s he can. He's followed the resurrection of 00010 after it was totaled.

Off-topic story - I was right behind Stan when he dropped the RC and slid into oncoming traffic. The RC45 literally gave its life to save Stan - A Mercedes SL sedan ran over them both. The motorcycle took on the car and lifted it over Stan. It still resulted in a med airlift for Stan.

We know Larry as Busy Little Shop.

I recall the HRC ECU being plug and play, not tuneable. Not certain.

A true "gear-head" brother with a story to remember, if we all could be so lucky to have a trustyworthy brother I'm a world full of rats, I could never trust a V-Tech belt-head nor could they ever have a story worth sharing, there's nothing like a true gear-head thank you for sharing brother
