Hate mike corbin products, his seats and boots are uncomfortable and he got shite customer service. Sargeant Seats did a killer job on my replacement cover for my gonzoed oem seat.

What happened to Thurn Motorsports on ebay? Was looking and could find him. They were in Lore Deutchland.

Nope, no brick wall ! That was 80% had to back off the throttle at 130 mph due to unsafe conditions (visibility, possible oncoming traffic, windy) trust me it will run right up to 160 mph under ideal safe conditions. I was basically just testing the smartphone mount)

That's a CAT3 mod, general appearance and personal preferences in conjunction with your ability to place a custom order based on your knowledge and experience. Mike Corbin has many variations of complete custom saddles, not simply a seat cover (big big product difference!) I would not agree with a vague general statement without any supporting details. I can tell you this most likely you would not know how to place a custom order with Mike Corbin, so Sargent might be best for you I talk with Gerhard at Thurn Sports every week I have three products in the works 1)Derby Window OEM Clutch Cover 2) OEM Stator Hand-Rewind 3) OEM Rectifier upgrade

Yeah, I couldn't agree more. I had a pair of boots and a seat, both failed to impress. The boots never did get comfortable, and the seat backing, very heavy fiberglass BTW, broke completely in half. In addition the seat was not comfortable before it broke due to the fact you would have to have "ape arms" to reach the bars from where it forced your butt to sit.

Now, the seat was for an FJ1200 but build quality is build quality. And they said they would fix the seat, all I had to so was ship it to them and pay for repairs! Not the best of customer service.

The Sargent I have on the VFR is a wonderful improvement over the stocker. The OEM would put my leg to sleep within 40 miles.

Oh man, here we go . I like to be optimistic too, ya know the glass is half full, rather than 1/2 empty. But 160, cough cough, ain't happening. Wondering you being all calculating and all, have you figured out the gear ratio to RPM to power ratio to push through the drag and all? Good read here. http://www.sportrider.com/tunnel-vision

I predict that there will never be a 100%, ideal conditions, 160 mph video, but I am sure there will be a million reasons why lol.

Max Top end speed is going to happen with Staintune Restrictor removed and ideal road conditions where you can really get a good pull (tucked) through 5th gear into 6th gear and not run out of road. I've seen an indicated 155 mph with more available but ran out of road

Mike Corbin is "a proven investment" in the Made In USA custom saddle business for "decades" but if you don't know how to order a custom seat, you may not get what going to work best for your particular situation. When you see me post my custom Corbin seat I will also share the custom ordering specifications

Ok, But, you did know there's a built in 5% speed-O error right? I've seen 155 indicated too, but it's not 155. and yes that's topped out with the indication the Tach gives, and in that there's room for judgement as they too I have found read a tad on the safe side. Why I pulled 12,300 indicated on the dyno, LOL it's all a crap shoot, so no absolutes, it is what it is. if it feels good to the pilot, then all is good. Next!

I know that's why I also use GPS speed on my smartphone when I really need to validate actual speed. What you don't seem to understand is I'm not quite finished fine tuning. You remind me of the boss who rattles off how he or she wants the finished product ASAP without knowing the details involved in making all that happen,it's fine, I'm so used to it and expect it to repeat forever, it's how just how it is and always will be for "some folks"

Doesn't really matter , you're splitting hairs. Oh, BTW I know what's what, I still poke and wonder if too, but after 17 years it's kinda like finding anything uncharted on this planet, not very likely that's going to happen. I will say I keep an open mind. but in that one also needs to understand when it's a dead horse, move on or accept what it is. so unless I missed something here using stock gearing on just a refine tune to be able to squeeze that last bit of power, then it gets down to physics. A solid 152-155 is about it, after that one needs another bike. or a ton of crazy money, even then SMH. that said, I'm all ears and look forward to seeing that dyno pull ;) but you shouldn't be such a matter of a fact. A lot of what you're trying has been done a many times. Next!
