Have some aluminum parts in a vibrating polisher. Put them in ultra sonic cleaner first to clean. Using crushed walnuts to polish the end cap on the swingers. Not sure if this will work. Also want to put some nuts and bolts in there next.

Has any one ever used one of these on aliminnum parts.
    Thanks

Is this a device for parts or something like a rock tumbler? Depending on the aluminum parts, if you are talking using steel nuts and bolts in the device, it will be noisy as hell and the sharp edges on the nuts and bolts will leave a profile on the softer aluminum. This may do ya fine but IMO a small empirical test with what ya have or maybe using old round steel bearings might be what you want

I hope you saved the walnuts first and just used the shells.. Any pecan pie recipe can be used with walnut meats. This is OK in Texas in most places.

Oh I see, those toys you were promoting were for other folks and travelling companions maybe? Some of those other Canadian dudes might not like the direct input or we could just ask Randy.

This will be fun. Love the humor. It is a pot type vibrator used to polish brass before reloading.

This will be interesting. Did not make a pie but it is still early

    Thanks

Further down South they have peanut pies. The official Texas State Pie is of course the Moon Pie..with a Big Red back for the experience of the real thing. ;)

I'm thinking steel nuts and bolts might damage your polishing machines container and even the steel balls might do the same. Brass is soft as is some cast and even forged aluminum.

No wonder you cleaned your bits with an ultrasonic cleaner if your rig is for cleaning old brass..

Don't get sucked into the perverts chatter on this subject. Truth be told they are more DIY than technical. LOL

My parts are best when naturally vibrated IMO.
This removes the risk of damage to delicate components.

I happen to have a natural way of polishing nuts, bolts, and end caps...but I've never tried it on end caps of swingers though im not opposed to it. The natural polishing shouldn't damage any of those parts.

I agree, but DIY provides for a more comprehensive learning experience.

A tutorial with photos would be perfect. Or even a YouTube video.
