I doubt if AM has a sexism problem since she hangs out in a world of testerone fueled males that ride "crotch rockets" (whatever those are) and know everything there is to know about VFR's. At least she hangs out with "the best of the best". Other women just haven't caught up with her, LOL!! Go AM!!!

I am feeling a little hostility towards me here BB. I am hurt so deeply. My life is at a turning point and you find you need to chastise me on my preferences of quality spirited beverage.

So as not to come across as hijacking a thread, to provide assistance in a time of dire need is something that everyone should so without hesitation. To do so to compensate for someone else's shortfall and when there is no urgency is just a nice thing to so. To choose not to do so, is your God given right. No matter why you choose to take that route.

The Big J appears to me to be a fine person I hope to meet someday. Maybe not soon but sometime before I become organic matter.

We will all get together and buy BB a plot at a cat cemetery somewhere. Right next to that other guy.

One of The Donalds first acts will be to rename a soft drink in his honor. It will be called "Dr.Pecker" The container will be so designed to use it orally or analy.

There's a recent article on how The Donald plays ball in your favorite hooch hood concerning one of his golf courses in Scotland. Had the Scots been able to vote in a US election they would have elected Hitler over Trump IMO.

We are all organic matter with a little inorganic matter tossed in for good measure. It is my belief that The Donald will become political compost way ahead of either of us.

Maybe next year is the time. I just might tag along with AM (If I can keep up) and ride out for R3. It would be great to meet people I only know by their avatar.

Just this morning I was reading a post on metriccruisers.com from these two dudes that were stuck in Bumfuck south Texas, and all they needed to get on their way was a 10mm open end wrench, everyone (one guy) that they had asked for help had said (lied) they didn't have any tools!:hss: LOL!

Yeah, no problems with the testosterone fueled males here.
If you guys weren't filled with it, I'd be scared.

I appreciate the sensitivity to sexism, but IMO...men and women aren't created with equal abilities nor have equal experiences. I'm treated way more different on the road than males. Maybe in good ways but also in bad ways. I have do things different when out on my own just because I'm female. I also rely on men's strength for things I cannot accomplish on my own because of my lady bod.

Anyhoo, you guys are hands down the bestest of the bestest!!

We do need to meet more of the regular members here. Avatars are great, but nothing like in person. Builds stonger camaraderie I think.

Randy needs to watch it though.
His cover will be blown if he meets more people in person. Deep down he's just a big Ole teddy bear.

If confession is good for the soul, then here's mine. As I was lane splitting the other day I saw a trailer hitch assembly laying just on the #1 lane side of the lines. Although traffic was moving slowly, I thought about stopping and picking it up and tossing to the side of the carpool lane next to the center divider. I figured a less aware person may not see this and hit it possibly causing some serious damage or injury. I opted not to pick it up and kept going.

Not even a mile down the freeway I spotted a rider on the left shoulder off his bike and standing next to the center divider. I pulled over to see if he was OK and/or if he needed assistance. When I asked what happened he said he had flat, I offered him the use of my plug kit but then he goes to show me where his tire was damaged. There was a big gash, too big and long for a plug, plus is was on the edge of the tire. He told me he hit something on the road and basically lost air and had to pull over.

It didn't dawn on me until I hopped back on the bike and started to pull away, I think he hit the piece that I opted to leave on the road. Now maybe it was too late for him, as he was ahead me already but thought I sure hope no one else has this happen to them.

I reach for things on high shelves, open them and then get pickled. Is that the same thing?

In my neck of the woods and possibly in yours too, stopping on a freeway, even in slow traffic, can be enormously dangerous.

Well in "rush hour" traffic on LA freeways, you can often walk faster than the traffic! Hence the reason we lane split, the only way you'll get anywhere!

There's a saying, "No good deed goes unpunished" and this went through my head during both instances. The first when I thought of moving the object from the road and then when I stopped to see if I could help the rider. Fortunately for me, I was spared any repercussions for the latter action of actually stopping.

Yes, OOTV, sux wondering if by not acting on something you would be responsible for something bad.

Like Big_Jim says, stopping sometimes is more dangerous. Here in podunk Wichita, people are killed by changing tire on side of road. There was an off duty fire or policeman...I can't remember...not too long ago who stopped to remove debris from Kellogg (horrible East/West highway here). He was hit and killed.
Maybe it's a good thing you didn't stop. Maybe something would have happened.

No regrets, but...It wouldn't eat you up if you weren't a good person. :)

I try to go out of my way to do at least one good thing a day.
I can't do it all the time though.
I feel bad about it. But tomorrow is a new day. :)

This made me think of an episode on an old comedy/variety show called Laugh in. Guest comedians were asked random questions kind of rapid fire and would give funny off the wall responses (you had to be there), This comedian, Rich Little I think, was asked, Do females have male hormones in their bodies? "Sometimes!":playful::cower:
