Just got a power commander put in yesterday. Only driven it about 50 miles, but I have noticed an immediate difference in the smoothness of the throttle response throughout the entire RPM range, but especially in the low range and first and second gears.

Does anyone have any advice for tweaking / settings that they use that could help me? You could spend years fiddling with the thing to get it set to a good place, and I'm wondering if anyone has some settings they could share with me, or advice for what to look for or set it to.

    Thanks in advance.

I just ordered mine today. Well, technically yesterday since it's after midnight now. Got it for $214 plus tax. Don't ask where from, it was a serious one-time hookup. He can't repeat that. Waiting on getting it set up before I get the LCD unit.

Couple of questions for anyone who can help.

    First question.
Power Commander website says california models of the 98-01 VFR require Two O2 sensor plugs/blockoffs/whatevers so what happens if I just leave the stock sensors in and don't do anything?

    Second question.
What settings have people used for the Accel Pump with success?

It'll run like crap cuase the PCIII hooks up after the ECM so the signal from the O2 sensors will reach the ECM and it'll fight with the PCIII.

Go to RadioShack and get 330ohm resistors. They're $1 for five.

Also on page 2 of the resistor thread they talk about turning the ignition on to prime fuel pump, then turning back off, then back on while holding the starter. They said it keeps the ECU from going thru the cycle.
