Call me old fashioned but I like the old school Atari Battlezone. For some real fun run down to local Marine Corps or Army recruiting center & volunteer for real thing.

The quality of some of these video games is really impressive. I was playing the Call Of Duty series for a while and some of the video images was really impressive, very realistic. Haven't done World of Tanks or played CoD in a while either for that matter.

 

Got that on a stand up machine at the house. It is a classic.

 

I got into playing World of Tanks for a while and loved it. Unfortunately, adulting has been taking up my gaming time and I haven't fired up the game in months. One day I'll get back to it.

 

Wow who would have thought there's a relationship between vfrs and tanks. I like to blow things up too, so guess its somewhat true that VFR owners and tank people think a lot a like.

Played some, wasn't good at it. Hasn't been playing for a while now. Riding in a tank is funny though, the real deal that is

 

Not me, but impressive..



I've been playing WoT since 2011, crappy PC and internet connection only allows 30-40 fps at best, but I enjoy the game play, allows me to connect with family over long distance in ways other than usual.
I started on EU server while in service overseas, now I play mostly on NA server.. but still have account on both servers.
If anyone want to platoon, let me know.

 

Tanks are heavy and get crappy mileage.

 

at speed.. about 2 gal per mile... that's why driving tanks in video game is much more fun..

 

I understand the video game is much safer than the real thing too.

The same goes for blowing stuff up. A kilo of C4 (Semtex) and a blowup doll could be cited as examples.

 

I don't like my neighbors much, especially when their dog start to bark at 7AM on a SUN morning.. but nothing says love like a lil C4.

A countermeasure is to gift them a rooster.

 

Depends on the tank, road marching with a Leopard 2 is rather around 1.2 gallon on the mile
