Wow. That's crazy .... especially considering that there are far better bikes out there.

This weekend was pretty much what we figure was the last of any sort of riding weather up here. The side of the road was LITTERED with Hardleys. It was comical. I know why they travel in herds now, in case one breaks down they have a lift back to town.

The joke is on him. If he would have taken the time to amortize how much that Harley is going to cost him over the lifetime of the refi loan, he would be quite uncomfortable. Even if he got a low refi rate, adding in the $20K or so for the Harley is going to be expensive!!!!

Harley Davidson has just announced that for all Harley owners who are sick and tired of their countrys National Anthems, this copy of the new official anthem may be purchased in the form of music and lyrics at any HD Botique. This is the official English version sung by the Harley-Davidson Men's Chorus:

If it weren't for my kids, I'd move to a climate I could ride year round in.

LOL! My old bike shop boss lived through the times of the Topper scooters, the Hummer and the HD Golf Car. He recalled that the factory held the big bike orders hostage to get the dealers to order that stuff that didn't sell.

There's a legal pot store in a nearby burg. The owners are harleydoods with brains. They also are commercial fishermen. The décor in the store includes a Hummer. That and some other bikes they rotate. No golf cart so far.

Not much news about those Indian made 750's that were supposed to be entry level "smaller" bikes..

Say what we will, HD knows how to sell their stuff.

Contrast with the nimwit that refinanced his house to ride a Harley with......I wrote them a check but after I told them if they mention "extended warranty" one more time, I'm walking out. They brought it up again, I got up to walk, got half way to the door and they ran after me. What's wrong with people!!??

The owner of the bike shop had a Harley golf car. It was powered by a two stroke engine that you started one way for forward and backwards for revers by changing the polarity on the DC starter motor. They used to use it on the municipal golf courses until it blew up on a fairway. They were going down a hill and over revved the engine. It holed the case, spit the rod out and left a trail of black goo and needle bearing all over the grass. The greens keeper was pissed!

It's only Tuesday and already Big Jim has won the Harley story of the week contest.

Now the damn things are probably collectable. I wonder if Leno has one?

    Regarding the 2-stroke golf carts:

As far as I know, all of them were/are built that way, with engines that run both directions. The switch under the front of the seat reverses the polarity of the starter motor. A "Harley" branded one would have been cosmetic/logo only, the works are universal or generic.

    ...and a bigass garage.

Jay rolled up to one of my MCs monthly meets one Summer. He was in town for a gig for Microsoft. Gates hired The Stones once too.. I was PR dude at the time. Leno knows his shit and is very sharp on bikes and other toys that go. He stayed about an hour. He was there to see what was going on. No schmoozing, grandstanding and not a lot of comedy. Some of course; he is a very funny guy.

    Nice one Duc.

The steel brake lines and ceramic pads will make the rear stop much faster........... Is the use of the word retard still politicaly incorrect?
