Thanks for the info and idea!
How much time will it record before you need to clear space?
Does it pick up your voice any?

Wow, Nice! Such a beautiful day and moto!! Where did you take these?

Yes, Gaspé, QB, Canada. Crest a hill and it's a beautiful view to your next road...ocean on one side, hill on other, cliffs! Tip of QB, quaint villages, French speaking for the most part.

That and Cabot Trail, Nova Scotia. Take a ferry across Bay of Fundy for relaxing fun and maybe some ocean critter views! <3

    Yes, the food was awesome!!
Tent set up by motel. Shower is an empty motel room with a key. Room rates are reasonable too.

Plus accessible safely and easily by motorcycle...paved. So many business driveways there are as steep as zoom-zoom's drive but with gravel/dirt... I'll definitely go back.

Holy!! Day for me too!! I want to go back ASAP and do it again. Really it's not that far. Cheapest fun I've had in song time! 60 bux gas and 10 for camp. Plus whatever food. Hours of riding 100s of curves!!

We shall get tons of selfies! ;)

Just outside of Letchworth State Park.

Plan was to get up that way this past summer but a shoulder malfunction than the minivan incident and I was out my travel ride for my available vacation time. Ooooo how I miss the oceans after living in Hawaii and California for a good part of my life.

First, Happy 25th Birthday to Moto!!
No safe place to pull off and get exact 25k photo, but what a great way to spend his bday!

    So...

last night I was in such a food coma from eating a real dinner that I passed out quick. I woke at 5 am to get loaded up and was so freezing that I crawled back in my sleeping bag. 37F is what muh phone said for Jasper.

Once I got up, the sun was out and it was already warming up. It climbed to 55F by 10am.

Ready to pack and roll out.

I had pecan pie left over so that was my breakfast. I hit the 7 again and started a morning of excellent riding under a big blue sky.

I decided to try another portion of 123 so I connected to 74E then 123S through Mt. Judea. WUT roads were I on?!

Not a soul in sight...this stretch was better than Pig Trail! But when it says 10 or 15, you go 10 or 15. Think of Needles in South Dakota. Hands down my 2nd favorite of the weekend, with the first being Talimena.

I continued on more roads...going around and around the area:

    Hwys: 7, 74, 123, 43, 16, 21, 23, 71

Pig Trail, 23, was okay. There was a not so friendly guy brake checking me for no reason. Braking on straights, etc. Had a huge line of cages backed up behind us. He doesn't pull over on any safe pull out....went on for 10 mins at least.

But sure as all heck on a 10mph curve...in apex of tight curve... he pulls up the side of the mountain to let us pass. I wonder if my generous revving and finally a hand toss in the air right before the curve had anything to do with that. :/

After the Pig, I hopped over to I-40 to zoom to the 71 Scenic Byway. I needed gas so stopped at 71 exit and met some new friends! Busa, Yamaha, and Suzuki. They were heading up 71 too. We chatted, I lent my charging box for the gal's phone, ate snacks, and we rode 71 together. We stopped along the way for some last Ozark views. Then they headed home to Fayetteville and I to Wichita.

Meeting them reminded me of how I cherish my rides for this other reason: the people along the way.

    The scenery was amazing too!

    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

I am so happy I am able to go on rides like this and cool that these roads are really pretty close to me.

If any of you are ever heading out that way, let me know! I may be able to join you!

    Lots of miles...1,129 total:

604 miles slabbing to get there and home

525 miles full of 1,000s of curves

    Home and so happy.

Jealous again wish I could just take off and go ride.

I noticed in the pic on your first post you are at a QT gas station. It just so happens that QT is headquartered in Atlanta GA. AFAIK the Quick Trip stations and there awesome Rooster Booster energy drinks from the fountain where pretty much only in ATL a few years ago.

Can you comment on where this QT was located and if there are others in the area.?

    Have a safe trip
    Best wishes
    db

Aww, I hope you can take off soon!!

I did not know QT was there!! That's awesome!

This is in Wichita, KS where I live. The QTs here can be found on almost every corner.

Wichita is actually a test market for QT rewards card. I get points for every dollar I spend. I can redeem points for cheaper gas. Tonight I went to fill up for $1.00 per gallon.

Thank you, db, I'm home now and will be crashing soon.

Hope you go ride somewhere awesome soon!

Great photos! Thanks again for making us jealous of your ride. I don't have the Viffer anymore but dug this photo out when I was there in 2014. Glad to know you're home safely. [IMG]

    Aww, that's too bad.

Thanks for all the photos you took of the trip. They look great. I'm so happy you were able to see some fall foliage and enjoy some twisties this weekend. Thank you so much for sharing these with us along with taking the time to write up your trip.

AM you get the best photos! By the time I think "Hey, that would make a nice spot for a photo" I have zoomed past it. I am green with envy of your trip and I just got back from South Texas last week.

That's awesome, I will have to dig into it more and find out if QT is indeed HQ'ed in ATL and why they didn't spread on out of ATL into the surrounding areas more. Instead it seems they moved to north central US as there aren't any that I know of in the North East.

They have spread out of Atlanta. They're all over N. Ga. and other states and places.
