Questions/comments/conclusions I have after watching this vid:

    1) WTF is she pushing the VFR like that for through cones!?! I was cringing the whole time thinking she would drop it for sure!
    2) What country are they in? Japan?
    3) Are the traffic lights flickering like that for real or is it just the video camera causing it?
    4) She seems waaaaay too short for the bike - she can't be more than 5'2".
    5) The 8th gen looks very sexy from behind.
    6) I think all ladies riding a sport bike look sexy - no matter what they look like - lol

The vid could be a riding lesson or even a riding test. In Japan motorcycle riding is tiered for skill levels as well as displacement.
    Looks and sounds like Japan..
Looks like the traffic lights are purposely flickering.

Don't get the idea that size and gender somehow are critical factors in riding skill. Check oot this group of chicas on VFRs

That was great! I thought I was watching the Thunderbirds/Blue Angels there for a minute :congratulatory:

I don't think she was doing a test - I just looked at some of the other vids on their channel and that couple has been posting vids of her riding all over the place on her VFR for about a year but the one I linked above is only about a month old so she presumably is fully licensed by now?

The flickering lights are a common occurrence of filming led lights. It's the frame rate of the camera catching the pulsing of the light that you can't see with the naked eye. You see it all the time on car shows like Motorweek when they're showing cars with led DRLs.

As for the rest, it definitely looks like they were demonstrating proper techniques for short people to sit on, push around, and stop at lights.

I see that pulsing a lot from cagers and harleydoods pumping their brakes.. I'm wondering if in the vid from Japan (??) the overall electrical system has something to do with that pulsing of the stop lights. ie our 115-120 vs 220.. One of the contributors here may have a definitive answer. Frame rate in film and frame rate in video share similarities but are different.

Maybe some body can count the pulses in the vid and solve this for us or maybe even dub in a music track.

Could be too that what we are seeing is one of those stranger than strange Japanese TV shows.

Several pages on LED flicker on Google. This fella has a demo that covers it well.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixfHxOnGJPI

Tons of innovations in photography and videography in general using powerful LEDs that ten years ago were unheard of or just too expensive to be practical for that average user. For a looksee, try any of the photo suppliers pages out of NYC.

Just spotted an LED light source made from a junk LED TV..

Just built a small mock up of a still photo soffbox using cardboard and some of last year's LED Christmas tree lights I got at Wal*Mart. (where else) Not finished yet. I am looking for a source for some Spandex as a diffuser on the advice of a guy I know. Until then I will be using some cut up panty hose. Engineering at its best ..LOL

This is from Japan. I think it's an instructional video showing how a short person (158 cm) can handle a relatively heavy motorcycle like the VFR.

LMAO BB. Interestingly, her 8th gen VFR would put up a decent battle against Godzilla, aka the Nissan GT-R, in a 1/4 mile drag race. I had some guy challenge me in his GT-R a few weeks ago so when I got home I looked up the times and was surprised to see that up until the '12 model year the 8th gen's 3.0 0-60 and 11.39 1/4 mile time would in theory beat the '08-'11 Godzilla GT-R (see attached pic). But I guess they've been steadily boosting Godzilla's power over the years because the newer ones are definitely quicker in 0-60 and the 1/4 mile.

I linked Nissan GT-R it came up with a carbon fibre license plate frame with the official logo on it for 25 pesos..I used to have a Nissan Altima that was not quite as fast but like my VFR managed to strand me more than once. I have relatives who worked for Nissan. You think I am bad here about crappy stuff..;)

2.9 seconds 0-60 is damn fast for a genuine street machine. A little pricy for my wallet but it gets pretty good mileage. In fact better than my now gone Explorer.

Gotta say the styling of some of the Japanese cars left a lot to be desired when they first started importing them until they started using Italian designs. That Nissan is really nice!!! Honda had a hotrod I saw at WSB years ago that was in the same price range..

Geeze, that woman is about how tall I am...just shy of 5'3". She's got some great skills on handling the moto from what is shown on vid.

But wondering if it's been lowered or the seat altered like when I shaved mine.

I wouldn't want to continue riding it around like that if there was something I could do to make it more manageable. That just doesn't seem smart. I want to be confident with at least some contact with both feet on the ground when an emergency may arise or I come upon uneven ground I have to stop on.

How do I get to become a policewoman on a moto?
Not to do any policework...just to be able to ride around in synchronization and look amazing like these gals!!
