    DA, glad you are okay!!
She deserved whatever you gave her.

I've surprised myself by getting upset at idiots on the road. There are too many of them out there.

    Lots of Harleydoods and Doodettes.

But great crowd for a super cause.

Well, I purged. It all came out. Paying attention is the only reason I'm not in the hospital or worse right now. At least I know my reaction time is still good.....

AM, we HAVE to know about your high beam switch / issue and how it turns out. The suspense is killing us, LOL!!

Took the little red scooter for a 220km ride through the country side for breakfast at sunny Toodyay.
Performed perfectly of course, and a pure joy to ride.

Group rides scare me a bit.
Too many things can go wrong, and there are riders who lack skills and a real understanding of the way to be safe around other bikes on the road.

My son found that out the hard way a couple of weeks ago.

Driftingalong, I know what you mean. A few years back a old guy in a convertible vette did the same thing and I reacted like you did. But, when I came up to the car yelling at the stop light "HE" Pulled out a handgun on me. I just backed up slowly and let him go That was the last time I did that. I have a few guns myself and I do not have a carry- concealed permit, but I go both ways on this. I don't think things would have turned out so good for either of us if I had (one dead or both or in jail for the other). You only pull out a gun to use it! I Thank God he did not. Take care.

The photo was from his phone, he took that picture.

Actually he hit a Yukon head-on. Both vehicles had panic brake slowed enough that the total speed differential had to be less than 25.
Still, it was one hell of an impact. He bent a brand-new right clip-on forward 10 degrees, and snapped the left one off. The police officer
that responded could not believe that he did not require an ambulance ride.

Yes, three weeks now, and the doctors tell him that it may be several more months before the effects of deep bruising abate completely.

The group he was riding with had slowed abruptly around a blind curve. His error was to assume that they were maintaining the same speed
as they had been during the ride. Instead of taking a couple of them out, he crossed the center line. Unfortunately the opposing lane was
soon occupied by the Yukon. If he'd laid down and gone under it, or chosen the guard rail, he might just now be getting out of the hospital.

We are all thankful that the best outcome possible from the collision was the actual result.

Tell him to hang in there ... it took me nearly a year before I started feeling normal again after my collision last year.
