Yes. They will get closer. Honda with the RCV-S and the Aprilia GP were in similar territory at comparable times in development. Should have a good indication of their progress at the race in Valencia.

Good rider, experienced.....prollly got caught out like DePuniet when he learned that it was going to be smith and espargaro next year. At least he has a good job as test rider....they have no testing limits, so lots of track time.

OMG! For sure there is an alien living among us, his name is Brad Binder. Keep an eye out for him, he'll be on the front row of the Moto3 grid in Pole Position!

I'm actually interested to see how he does with the transition to Moto2....Will it be Vinales/Rinns or will it be Cortese/AMarquez. They are building a team around him, so equipment won't be a problem. Older than most of the guys in the Moto3 class at 21. Needs to make the jump to keep going forward.

For sure. I was definitely impressed with his season this year and while watching qualifying last night, almost out of nowhere he pulls pole position!

This one I wasn't expecting though, Hayden qualified 2 at Qatar, Chaz 3. Rae got pole position, so he's looking good for taking home the championship on the first race.

Qatar SBK was interesting to watch all the rear tires squirm, slip and slide--reckon the temperature drops quickly when the sun goes down. Bet that's an extra handful to ride above and beyond the usual hanging it on the edge... Go Nicky Go!

+1. When I saw him on pole, barring a crash, I figured he had it in the bag. Too bad Hayden couldn't keep up the pace. He was doing well for a while but lost momentum when Guintoli passed him. Still did pretty well though. Hopefully next year's Honda will be better for him and Bradl.

Not sure if anyone else caught the crowd in the background when MM crashed at PI but I thought it was odd, it did get the attention of others too. Should you cheer a motorcycle crash?

I will admit I did do a little "woo hoo" when JL crashed out of Motegi. It wasn't because I enjoyed seeing him crash but more because I figured MM was one step closer to being 2016 World Champion. I also saw that he was OK. I probably would have not done so had he'd been launched in a high side or more injury causing crash, as I don't think we really like seeing these guys get launched or hurt...or do you?

MotoGP was rain-delayed and shortened to 19 laps.

    ps sunday pm
SBK R2 was red flagged and delayed a bit, at first i thought beIN may cut off the live feed coverage--but they held in there for a great unexpected finish.

If you're into F1 there were lots of firewords at the end of that race...

Expect no one to own up to a question like that. "They" will be against it by some percentage so far over 100 as to be ridiculous, citing almost as many anecdotal instances as a thread will hold.

Plug into vids of crashes of NASCAR fast guys where crowd shots are included in the footage. It's like fucking lemmings going for a cliff dive. Or, more to the point some of the crashes that have been posted here by "our" homies..

For those who are in denial I will have a small but exclusive line of "Who Me?" Tshirts for sale that make great avatars. Only 19.95 pesos+ shipping and handling. One size fits all.

If nobody comes through on the "how to", this can be fun.

    https://soundeffects.sounddogs.com/...T1VSIFFWss93jwPD-Hiypy7NjsWja6eqEShoC1nTw_wcB

    or one of these:

Saw a guy in a tav use one of these gadgets that has 20 different sounds built in. He would push a button on it then whip out his cell and go into a conversation that was one way.

Zarco captured the championship is grand stlye. He seemed exhausted in the after interview, very emotional too.

Moto 3.....!! 8 riders out in less than 1 lap and it continued through out the race, something like 18 crashes! Nuts. I think Binder would have won yet another.

And congrats to Dovi! Glad he finally won another. Rossi just could not hold him off, the Duc was so much faster. It must be hard to fight and finally take the lead to just have it swallowed up with the twist of the red grip. Man the Duc's were fast.

VR said his right side front tire was used up, one of the announcers thought his brake lever was coming in all the way to the grip.
