Sorry if this has already been posted here but I haven't seen it. This is an awful video to watch - fortunately the riders all survived - but the VFR did not :grumpy:

Ouch! Sometimes you're the windshield and sometimes you're the bug.

In situations like this, when you have been riding and you have to stop and help a fallen rider, have you noticed that running or moving seem to take forever, like you are moving in slow motion. I am pretty sure it has to do with just climbing off a bike were speed is pretty much effortless but I have always thought that is was a strange sensation.

And sometimes you're the shrimp on the barbie. I wonder if any of these guys are members on here? Here's an unimbedded link to the vid - from looking at some of his other vids they're in Australia and the cameraman also owns a VFR Crosstourer and there's a couple guys in his group with red VFR800's. Hope everyone heals up quick.

Looks like a popular twisty road for bikers out on a sunday ride. i've been on a ride like that where the fellow behind me went off in the ditch--by the time i could get turned around and back to the scene the bike was bar-b-q. Something shorted in the wiring and the starter motor was just cranking away while he stood there watching...

Years ago, came up on left turn intersection where bike was laying in middle of road on fire. Not sure if there was accident or what but rider was standing there talking with someone else and nothing anyone could do. I hated driving by seeing bike on fire and felt absolutely helpless that nothing I could do either. Sure the cops/fire dept were called but bike would be gone by the time they got there. Shortly after that, went and bought a small fire extinguisher to carry in the trunk of my car so I would be prepared the next time. Still carry one today, although the other had to be replaced.

Ok why post a crash? No one wants to see any motorcyclist crash --- even Hardleys.
    Didn't watch and won't

I'm kinda the same way, but I watch sometimes just to remind myself of how quickly things can go wrong. Keeps me from pushing too hard.
