Honda is really trying to close out the manufacturers title.....they need all hands on deck and want to have as many guys capable of pulling out the necessary finishes...Cal already has a full factory bike, putting Hayden on the second Repsol machine is showing how serious they are about getting it done. If they weren't concerned about that, they would have stuck Aoyama on it again.

 

Makes sense.

 

There are a bunch of guys that deserve the ride before him but there daddies don't ,own race tracks.

I read that pic was from 2008 when Marc was 15 and riding 125s. He looks about half that age in the pic though :rofl:

 

If so, and you really want something that will make your head spin, that was eight years AND Five world titles ago.

Looks like rain is putting FP2 on hold again...

 

Not looking good for the Yamaha duo in this prequalifying FP3 session. Looks like a Q1 qualifying for both at the moment.

MM somehow found his place at the top! Hayden in the top 10!

 

Marquez closing out the last three would be great for Honda. If Nick can pull a top 5 or 6 that would be an interesting development.....

What a complete shitfest. I would have to think that Marquez is glad he clinched last weekend. No big risks required. One of the reasons I struggle with the idea of going to a race at PI. I would like to go, but I certainly don't want to travel that far and have the weather be shit. It is making it interesting, but I'm glad I'm not there.

 

Interesting to say the least! The list of Q1 riders looks more like the typical Q2 list!

 

Hondas........4 out of the first 7 grid slots. Excellent ride by Nick to 7th.....Seriously doubt Aoyama could have pulled that off. Manufacturers Championship getting closer. Looking forward to the race tomorrow. Marquez within 0.013 seconds of the ideal lap....never really challenged.
