^ you need decent foot wear first ;) Yes, a big 10 for the Honda cleaner polish, it's what I use, that and Plexus for the screen & visor, great stuff, yes Honda dealers should carry it.

Similar story here... worked behind the parts counter for a Honda/Suzuki/BMW dealership from '85-'87. Scored an '84 V65 Sabre (black/gray/maroon) with 2000 miles for $2200 :) - the original owner had short legs, and was wanting to buy a Shadow with a lower seat height. I think at the time the new ones were $3700ish. Using my parts discount, I order the CBX-style fairing with the lowers and the Hondaline crash bar. Had the guys in service dept install it. Kept it until I was a junior in college, when I needed a car for the summer internship. Sold it with 19k miles. Other than the dreaded voltage regulator problem, it was one reliable machine.

Rode up in northern Kansas yesterday in crazy wind to attend my brother's wedding. Left at night and rode home under supermoon light.

If headlights would have gone out, I would have still been able to see okay. Was pretty amazing.

Nice picture AM. Apparently due to orbital variances, the moon is at its closest approach to the earth right now hence the extra illumination (following the inverse square law of intensity to distance).

You rode the bike to the wedding? I would have loved to see you in your attire.

The moon is soooo beautiful now! <3 I'd love to see a moon like this on snow.

Yes, RVFR, I wasn't in the wedding party, so nothing fancy, but I did have a dress on under all my gear. People don't know I ride unless they see me take off my gear or put it on. I do it all the time at work. Amazes the kids I have dresses on underneath lolzzz

Kind of like a female James Bond except he has a tux on under his gear and not a dress (most of the time.)

I'm considering doing a night ride some weekend night in the mountains on one of my favorite 160 mile runs. It would be slow to hopefully avoid meeting a deer but it would surely be peaceful with nobody else out and just time to enjoy something different and peaceful.

I think that is the first time I have seen a statement about the inverse square law in a motorcycle thread. I use that law all the time in my line of work. Well done Cadbury. The King tides from this moon are flooding coastal streets in south Florida for days now. That salt water will eat you car up.

I seem to have more use for the Dopeler effect, in which stupid ideas seem more sensible when they come at you rapidly.

    lol

I have always found it interesting that the inverse square law works the same for light and sound. There are a lot of similarities between light and sound even though they move at vastly different rates. A lot of the young kids new in the industry do not even know what it is. They do not know how to use a light meter, what contrast ratios are or how to apply it to different cameras. They are use to just looking at a monitor.
