This is in Tel Aviv, Israel. Well, in today's world, this pisses me off yet it doesn't surprise me totally. You can give all the excuses of people are late for work, need their morning coffee, or whatever, however, it doesn't hold water with me regardless what the excuse is. Imagine if this was you, or you were driving by. Sad.... :frown:

I know around me we have failure to render aid laws which only require involved parties to stop to help. To help with people getting sued by hurting a victim further while trying to help, the state of GA passed "Good Samaritan" laws that exempt people from liability if they are not being paid for the assistance. I can say that while a fair amount of people around here would just keep driving, I rarely pull onto the scene of a bad wreck/incident where good Samaritans have not stopped to help.

That is absolutely inexcusable. There is no excuse whatsoever that is valid for behavior like that. Even several bikers just went around the guy laying in the intersection. All I can say is that I hope some of them need help one of these days and receive the same treatment.

I know that some people are afraid of getting sued, however, I figure at the very least if the are afraid of touching the person, they can block traffic to protect them, see if they are alert, and call for help.

I saw an accident about a year ago wear a SUV cut a rider off on an off-ramp, and he fell to the side at very low speed. 4-5 cars in front of me passed by him without stopping. I was the first one to stop and see if I could help. He was ok, just bruised/shaken up, but still.

Thank goodness in Australia we have some protection from the fear of being sued when helping injured "Good Samaritan" protection, which reduces one 'barrier' to rendering aid. I can understand people driving by if the person is being attended by others, but this... !
