This poor guy "Bob" gets his new 8th gen scratched by a baby bear on his first ride - lol - I guess it could have been a lot worse. I don't think he's a member here? Also, it's good to know that if I ever lose a hand I could just get my bike modded so I can still ride it. Much respect to the guy for not just getting an auto tranny VFR1200.

Edit: FF to the 8:00 mark to see the baby bears.

Yeah there was one baby bear that looked like it went back to the left side of the road while the other one I think was crossing in front of him and both Bob and the bear stopped dead in their tracks? Then it looks like they cut the video at that point for some reason. At the end they show him repairing scratches on his lower fairing that the narrator says were caused by the baby bear? The video is pretty poor quality - hard to tell exactly what happened.

Yeah, no bear/bike contact in the video... Weird, as that is actually the point of the entire video.

Whew! Glad it wasn't a gen 5. Now THAT would have been bad.

I think he's a member on VFRDiscussion. If it is him there are more pics of the control setup.

Sucks about the scratches. Bob rides way better with one hand than I do with two hands.
