Hello All: This has been a long time coming but I'm back into riding motorcycles after a 15 year absence. I'm the owner of a new 2006 VFR in Pearl White Just took delivery yesterday. What an awesome bike! Power, handling, style and class. Looking forward to many years of enjoyment with Honda's finest. I'm 45, 6'3 and find the bike to have a sporty riding position but still comfortable. Looking forward to breaking this baby in. Just ordered up the factory Saddlebags and a Two brothers exhaust today. The engine sounds at times like a small block V8, hope to bring out more of that sound with the exhaust system. Steve
welcome steve, i also am 45 but 6 foot tail hey you should post a picture of your baby ? what stste do you live in ? good luck im sure you will love this site tim
I'm in almost the exact same boat except I'm 44 and my bike is Pearl Black. I'm finding I have to think a bit more about riding position to keep the hands and wrist comfortable than I used to. I had the original VF750F in 1983 and love this 6th Gen! Everytime I ride it, I enjoy it more.
Hey VFRTec, I have the same problem WOW! it sucks getting old i think im 27 but feel 65 ? hey arnt you guys getting ready to get wet ?
I'm In Oregon. Hopefully have about 8 weeks of good riding weather left. I too have numbness problems, in my left hand, but I've only put 75 miles on and could be I just need more riding time.
Welcoem back to motorcycling and to the group. Also, congrats on your purchase of the best sport/tourer (tho Honda classifies it as a sport bike on their site) out there.
Thank you. So far, I'm very impressed with my VTR, I imagine it only gets better from here on out. I have ordered up the factory saddlebags (tho very expensive, I need them for my commute) and a Two Brothers exhaust system, which the dealer tells me, will amplify that small block V8 rumble. Looking forward to learning all there is to know about the VFR and making some good friends on here. Steve
at 43 I can still be a little smart ass... but there is a VTR and you may have one. Glad you're here... "typing" - now you're showing your age Mr. Selectric Do the kiddies still call it "typing"? even though there is no typewriter? or is it "texting" regarless of input mechanism? Do they "dial" or "button" a phone?

Wow - it sure hit again today! It's supposed to rain all the way through the weekend. When I got the bike in June, it was just starting to hit an incredible stretch of rain. It literally rained EVERY DAY for 30 days after I got the VFR.
Hi all. Here, a new user. Travel far away from the cold of Finland. The new VFR in March 1200 will - that is, as soon as ... Jogha
