I'll probably buy a set of the Chinese pegs. I want to see if there is a way to get them to tilt upward, perhaps tap the little arms and put a small screw into them, or something. I'd like to have an upward tilt to push my knees inward a bit on long trips.

My Chinese peg is doing just fine after nearly a year of use.

May be easier to screw a thin plate to the peg mount to push the bottom of the pegs out a touch.

Good idea. I did something of that sort to my left peg bracket, as it's bent from the P.O. and it was hanging the footpeg down. It's level now, but I'd like a bit upward. The right side has the brake hardware in the way, so perhaps I'll epoxy something there.
