I saw this up at Newcombs Ranch yesterday. VFR800 engine, rear wheel drive, 1400 lbs, paddle shifted 6 speed.
Look at this thread http://vfrworld.com/forums/showthre...got-parts-left-over-cheap!?highlight=n600+vfr He did a thread on the build over a couple of years. The transmission is stock VFR, and the "paddles" are hooked thru a linkage to the shift pedal shaft.
I wonder if the new owner was able to get that reverse thing added. I really wanted to buy this when it was for sale a few months ago, but had no where to keep it. I like the gas tank under the hood. I guess it's now an airbox? Saw this bike engine car a while ago. If it was mine it would not be left on the street or outside. :smile-new:

If ya left it out, it would be an Eastla low rider in a week.. I think the VFR tank on the white car is the gas tank. That rig is not a street car. Cal vehicle code probably requires a reverse for cars...
It appears to have a Cali plate on it. The bringatrailer.com post said the "tank" was just an engine cover.
Yep! Missed that one.. in one of the attached pix it shows the real gas tank in rear of the car. Even that is well done.... The title probably goes with the original 600. Street legal is another thing. Sure would be fun to have though. Lint's pic shows the Tank and air cleaner assembly. One of the dreaded K&Ns I think.. Another neat thing that looks to me like a version of a Supertrapp is part of the exhaust. Bet the old and the new owners scare the bejeezus out of the MiniCooper dudes..
