His leathers were scuffed at the forearm, elbows, and shoulder....

 

He must have excellent leg strength too. Its funny I have seen him do this a bunch of times now and when the front folds its not as violent or quick as you usually see on typical low sides. I think he really pushes hard with the outside of his leg to help the bike regain grip. And its crazy when it does hook back up that he never flys off on a high side. Kids got skills.

 

Hmm, maybe Knight needs to see this video to see how peg weighting can save you from a crash! :wink:

lmao when MM went off the track. I hope he bins it at least 1 time and the championship gets tight again. Maverick is looking really good...... and on a Suzuki! What will he be like on JL's ride?

 

I think he'll quickly be up on the podium, at least once he gets familiar with the bike. Not sure how Jorge will do just yet. Not sure if MM wanted to dice it up for fun or wanted to get back to old ways but I think it was good to see. In the after race interview both Cal and VR were excited to be dicing it up. Both had mentioned that Maverick should have waited for them so they all could diced it up. Had to be one of the better races of the year so far. Also good to see more than the same familiar faces on the top step too.

 

Moto 2 was very good too. Alex Loews got screwd!

 

Dude! Tell me about. I like Zarco but that was an overly optimistic maneuver. Probably fits the Casey remark he made to VR..."Looks like your ambition out weighed your talent!" (Paraphrasing)

Although in an after race interview Zarco mentioned that when they came together his brake guard broke and he had trouble grabbing more brake so he had to stand it up. I'd like to see more video of that to see what actually happened. Similar to the VR/MM in Sepang, everyone will have their POV of the incident. Good luck for Rins though, he was at least able to add more points to his score card! Kudos too, for he was riding injured.

 

Yeah he got a 30 second penalty, probably mostly because the attempt was straight through the paint. At least it tightens up the championship.

 

Interesting news today, Dorna has announced that they will be retiring Marco Simonceli's number 58 from the lineup. Marco's father "owns" the number and only he has permission to bring it back into circulation.

Wow! Another race with some great riding and some surprises. Got to say I'm glad I got up early to catch this one!

Good for DP! The tire choice seems to be a real wildcard this season. Also seems like it's leveled the field a bit. 8 races, 8 different winners.

He did this last year too, not much most of the first part of the season and then out of nowhere steals the race from VR!
