Hello from the PNW! I'm pretty new to the VFR world and riding in general. I picked up my '07 R/W/B probably about a month ago and have been thoroughly enjoying it ever since. Well until yesterday when it dies on me on my way to work. Charging issues. I still love it though and will get it figured out. I was told to post a pic of my VFR so here are a couple.

Since you're new here and to riding in general, you're lack of knowledge is forgiven, but read up here (link) and see what you might be experiencing. Other than this little gremlin, the VFR is a great machine. Find the post with 'The Drill' procedure and you should find where your issue is. Good luck!

Useful? where? ;) Hi and welcome, Yes, that's what I'm talking about, great way to starting off an intro by throwing up some photos, Nice. You're just down the street.. sorta, an hour or so south. Sorry to hear about the hic up. Yea other than the charging issue that pops up now and then on a few they are a great bike as you know. The vfr is worth the trouble for sure once that is figured out. Let us know how it goes, there are a few here that are nuts about the RR issue fix. so you're in good hands here.

On that note bet you have hit up Wind river? you're in the neighborhood of the best roads in Wa. IMO, that and NW Ore ain't bad either. Surely you have been here

I haven't hit up Wind river. I'll have to check it out. Mostly I have just been commuting so far. My commute is 20 miles of Highway 14 so it's not too bad.

Oh man, does your ride on 14 take you around Carson? If so, then yes you need to get your arse up Wind river, and after Old man pass about a mile make left on Curly creek.
FWIW Good chance you will need what they have too. http://roadstercycle.com/index.htm

Thanks for the welcomes! No, I haven't been out to the Carson area. Here is a map of my commute. Though apparently Google maps thinks I'm flying. I actually stick to HWY 14.

I like what the PO did with the wheels--- wonder what they would look like with white centers.
    Enjoy

I will definitely do that! I want to find some more good roads to try out.

I think it would look pretty good with the centers white. I'm not sure I want the extra headache of keeping them clean though.

Oh Man, not white, you don't want to do that they are a PITA to keep clean, plus they slow the bike down. :)

I don't think there is any denying that white wheels look awesome on a R/W/B! I'm already slow enough though.
