Hold both buttons simultaneously until the time starts flashing. Press the right button and the time moves up. Hold the right button down and the time moves up faster by incremets of 10 minutes if I remember right. Keep holding it down if you need to get into AM or PM. Press the right button quickly (don't hold it down) to get to a specific minute. When the time is set, let go of the right button for a few seconds....then press it once. The clock is now set.

I've done this a billion times this summer. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. If I'm wrong and you still need help, I'll go down to moto and type another response as I do it. :)

    Awesome! Glad you got it!

That clock had me stumped many times before electrical gremlins had me setting it on a regular basis. :)

And make sure you turn the key ON to set the clock since pressing any combination of buttons, holding any combination of buttons while using any combination of cuss words will not work if the key is off. I would be fairly certain of this little side note.

In Europe the official handbook which comes with a VFR is multilingual and is far too bulky to lug around in the bike. For each of my bikes I simply photocopy the bits I need, seal them in clear plastic, and have them stuck inside the lid of my top-box. That way all the useful stuff is ready to hand - Adjusting the clock - changing from MPH to KPH - tyre pressures.
