Sorry I haven't been around, been busy with new projects.

The front coils are attached to the air plenum, on the front of the carbs. I ran a dedicated ground wire for them.

The rear coils are off a gsxr600, just swap connectors and plug them in.

I Tig welded hose barbs to a piece of 3/8" brake line that I formed to fit the oil cooler.

    Thank you sir! ;)

Seb, incredible build out. I'm curious - how does the pipe not hit the rear wheel when it's under load? As I understand it the pipe is going to be attached to the frame and engine, so it's not going to move relative to the wheel when the suspension compresses? Just couldn't figure it out looking at the build. Thanks for posting!

Wow! That is one heck of a build. Very well done. My first thought was to wonder how much weight you ended up saving, but I see someone responded by making that the first question.... :biggrin-new:

You sir have a gift. You are truly talented and this bike is gorgeous. Would love to see it up close. I know this is an old thread (I am new to the site and VFRs) but do you still have/ride it?

Wondering what you'll build next! ;)

Beautiful bike, loads of nice work. Also, nice cb1100f. How do you like those mirrors? Are they way out of your line of sight?

Thanks. The mirrors are not bad, they do take a little getting used to.

The CB was a 900 in the last posted pic, it has since been bumped up to 985. :)
