Three total riders? Because the factory seat is a two person seat. Are you having trouble taking off the solo seat cover?

Any standard 98-01 seat should fit. They all are a long two person seat.

Pic of your seat. Well, actually, the motorcycle seat. Unless you're a hot chick. Then yours too...

Hmm? Interesting question. maybe he has one of those Corbin smuggler seats where they have a trunk where the passenger sits? Photos would help here big time as those ahead of me said and Lint shows the stock seat sits two all ready.

As mentioned by RVFR, what you have is a Corbin Smuggler which replaces the passenger portion of the seat with a luggage compartment. You could try to find a regular Corbin seat or maybe a Sargent seat if you like the shape and comfort of the seat you currently have. The Sargent seats I think are all 2 piece seats with a separate front and rear passenger seat section. Another option would be to find a stock seat on maybe eBay or Craiglist, etc. and any seat from a 98-2001 VFR800 will work.

Nice looking bike by the way, and in the fastest color to boot. LOL.

Somebody with a similar bike may be up for a swap. A CU of your seat with some words as to what it is exactly ect. helps.

The other alternative is to ditch the GF.

I'll trade you a nice, like new stock seat, and some boot for your Corbin smuggler seat.

I have always had great dealing with the people on this VFR forum. I have made deals, followed through and have had great experiences with everyone here. There are it seems exceptions to this and I will be more wary in the future. As part of my agreement with flyty808, I sent him my two-up seat. He said that he received it, and that it worked well but was very busy. He promised to send the smuggler seat as soon as he could. The excuses continued to mount and then I stopped hearing from him all together. Even now I hold out hope and a do not want to trash anyone. He may be extremely busy as he says but at least he could contact me. I went to the trouble and the expense, in good faith, and ti seems my trust has been misplaced.

With a "membership" here, possibly the dude's Email and some form of snailmail addy this guy is available. The time for being nice has expired. I'd start with one more communication then start narrowing down where this dude trades dealerwise.

If you need the services of "Guido and Tony inc." let me know.

Take a peekaboo at the Saddleman recovering kits for the VFR. I have the touring version and it's beefed up for both the rider and the pillion positions.
