Recently picked up a 2015 VFR800F Deluxe (red). This is my 2nd VFR, my first was a 2003 silver ABS model and absolutely loved it (with Heli-bars and Corbin seat). I traded that '03 in for a 2004 ST1300 a year later because my wife wanted to start riding with me. I later picked up a GoldWing, but after an accident we were in last year the wife feels she can't ride anymore, so I traded the GoldWing in for a new VFR.

I got the bike with the Honda bar risers, but still feel it's a bit too low and forward for my 58 year old body. I've ordered the Motoppumpd 1.25" risers, and should have those by end of week. I've also put the seat in the low position, which may help with the bars some, but I'll have to see how it feels with my 32.5" inseam legs and my 6'1" frame.

Anyway, love riding around here in SoCal and maybe I'll see some of you on the road.

I did the same trade, if you are looking for lowering pegs, company called Knight Designs makes a nice set.

Thanks! We both had broken ribs, the wife had some hematoma in her left knee and some spinal compression issues. I have a titanium place in my left arm to remind of the event. But it's the wife's back issues that's preventing her from riding. That may change in a year or two, I'll just have to wait and see. If she does end up wanting to ride again, I may just have to get another GoldWing - and maybe Honda will have updated it by then. :) But I'll enjoy the VFR until that time.
