Brake Bias

Should I use synthetic oil on my brake pads? :livid:

I'm enraptured with the way my bike sounds, but honestly, at times wish I had a new bike to just hop on an ride, vs gotta do this, gotta do that, double check this, double check that... Maybe if I had a garage, bike lift etc this would be different.

 

It does make a difference having a garage, it also helps to have multiple bikes but then a garage is mandatory IMO.

 

Amen to that. Also buying cheap bikes opens up a world of possibility for modification vs spending the big bucks on the latest and greatest. Case in point my VFR800, purchased for about 20% of the 8th gen new price. Actually if I add the purchase price of my three bikes (VFR/VTR/ST11) together I get to 40% of the price of an 8th gen. I call that a win.

 

Make sure the slider pins and holes they go in on the calipers are real clean and lubed.
