Annual Black Hills Gathering???

Dude ... I'd love to do the Alps, but it won't be for for at least a few years ... 4-5 at least.

 

Oh, you mean people meet in the mountains, not ask the mountains to move to a meet-up........ ; )

 

It would be great to meet in the black hills. Maybe next you set something up? I've done my big trip this year and can't swing the $$ right now. I'm having a big concrete driveway put in. They poured half of it today. Monies a little tight.

 

Sure ... let's start slating this for next year to give everyone more time.

Is there a particular time that works best for everyone? I know AM will only have September long weekend open. The only other time to do the Black Hills is late May / early June.

 

Just where exactly do you live and which mountains would you like? I have them fairly booked up at the moment but might be able drop them in on you in transit.

 

I would easily be able to do that after R3 next year. My plan was to retrace my 2014 adventure (without the break downs of course) which took me not far from there. And to drink more beer at your place again. R3 and the IBA pre R3 attempt aside, I have no time table for next years ride.

Either of those times would work for me. I try and take my rides in those time frames, just before or after the main vacation time of most people. Less traffic and cheaper motels. Plus I can fly low instead of going road fast.
