Hi everyone. I decided I wanted a bike a while back (had a few as a kid)
and ended up buying one that didn't run from a woman who knew nothing
about motorcycles (we shared that in common, I now realize

The machine, old and beatup, just screamed _quality_. So I gave her
the hundred bucks, and a good bike mechanic another five hundred,
and she runs _great_.

I'm the weak link in this partnership, and really am eating up the
stories and advice from seasoned riders and VFR mechs.

My sympathies to DJ...
