    I've found a 1987 VFR750 Interceptor, it has almost 80.000km.
Is there anything I have to look out for??

Just typical used bike stuff, of coarse taking into account parts are hard to come by, so it's over all condition is a biggy. on the mechanical side, it's like any other bike, chains, tires, suspension, brakes, electrical, etc... it's all questionable.

It will need a new (used) exhaust system, is that a "hard to get part"?

Anything else you can see on the picture?

    Have you joined vfrdiscussion.com?

While there is quite a bit of cross over of members between the two forums I think that site has a larger community of European members. Maybe you can find a guy from the forum who knows these, in your area, who will look at the bike in person with you.

Have you talked to the owner? It may help other members if you can provide some history of the bike, anything not stock, what does the owner say is wrong, what does the owner say is good, has it been ridden recently or has it been in storage, etc.

    Hi,
No not yet, but I think I will.
I will go over to the owner today, to have a look at it. Then I will ask the questions, and take a few pictures. And maybe make a deal with him, and buy :- )

I will pass this one, it looked better on the pictures, then in real life.

I've found a 1989 in Germany that I will take a look at tomorrow. I've also found a nice looking 1987 in south part of Germany, but it is a long dive for me, so I will pass that until I see the 1989, which is in the north part of Germany, very close to the Danish border.

The crack in the upper fairing didn't look too bad.

The problems is, that is it all the way around.
When I'm done repairing this bike, the cost will be high. That is why I want to see some others, and maybe pay a bit more, to get better bike to start with.
