had to get the rear tire plugged. Woke up to a flat.
    Ordered another CONTINENTAL 180 rear.
After the tow from New York... it wore quite more than I thought.
just as I started getting it over on the sides.

I have been having all kinds of fun with my new 6th gen. I changed oil and filter using an OEM Honda filter and Honda brand 10W-40 synthetic blend oil. I evacuated all the old brake and clutch fluid and decided to try my hand at plastic welding. The fairing came with a bunch of screws missing and some crash damage. There is a mounting stalk (for lack of a better term) at the bottom front of the right side. It was punched out of the fairing and hanging by a thread. There was also an inset mount that was cracked out on the back upper left side fairing. I fix them both with a regular soldering iron. I welded them back together and clipped some of the plastic from the inside of the fairing to use as fill. It’s a really ugly weld but a little work with the dermal tool and a touch of body filler and it will be decent. I just hate fairings with missing screws.

Waxed it, wiped off the chain of slight debris before I lightly re-lube it prior to a North Carolina twisty trip next week. Other than that, it's ready to go. A clean bike is a happy bike with a happy owner.

As it's been kinda lousy weather wise then add work timing, I haven't been out for like over a week. So figure It's due to take it out and admire it.

Where did you order the shock from? If you ordered it from a shop that provides suspension services, you should have given them the particulars of your case. For example , daughertymotorsports.com offers the 929 shock as a replacement option but Jamie will ask for your riding weight (I.e. Full gear on) and what type of riding you will mostly be doing (I.e. Track days, touring, etc.). He then builds the shock accordingly. This means the internal damping and spring rate. Sometimes you can get lucky and your weight will fall inline with that of the shocks setup, but often times it does require adjustment.
