There was an excellent TT preview on TV last night, they went around the whole paddock, good interview with Clive Padgett about the RCV213, "it's just an expensive road bike, we left the horn on for Bruce "

Then the Suter, they only decided to try the TT if Ian Lougher would ride the bike, something JMcG agreed with, "Ian's the man to sort it for them ....I followed him for a couple of miles on Tuesday evening practice, the smell of the 2 stroke took me back to racing with Joey"

It's incredibly well made, absolutely nothing on it that's not needed, exquisite carbon fibre components, the welding of the stainless steel expansion chambers in the exhaust was top quality finished off with 4 Akropovic stingers on the tails ....a work of art

Extremely compact engine and gearbox, no frills frame, the whole bike just shouted quality

Here's hoping things come together for them

    TT 2016

Michael Dunlop set a new absolute lap record and recorded the first ever sub 17-minute lap in winning the opening Superbike race at the Isle of Man TT.

After a first lap of 133.37mph on his Hawk Racing BMW, Dunlop bettered that with a 133.39 on lap two which was a time of 16 minutes and 58.25 seconds.

    Hutchy 2nd and JMcG 3rd

Wow! They were saying with The good conditions that the record would fall this year. But wow that is really fast.

I don't know what your TV coverage is like but you can listen to the racing live on Manx radio, they've always covered the races and on the Island the whole place is tuned in to them on race days

Just watched the post qualifying press conference on MotoGP.com and it was very somber and emotional to say the least. I have to say I really felt for Johan Zarco, he went off on a reporter who asked a question that was somewhat accusatory and he let him have it.

The death of Luis Salom was definitely a sad and also event changing incident and it really seemed to hit everyone really hard. RIP Luis

They call him 'The Maniac', maybe 'The Wrecking Ball' or 'The Torpedo' would be more fitting!

Rossi looked very good especially on the brakes. Top 3 within 20 pts, going to be an interesting end of year.

I have to say that MM has shown a lot of maturity and has the Worldchampionship in his vision vs the immediate glory of winning a race. Although he did try on a few races to grab the win, he ultimately took the points instead, knowing it was too much of a risk to try.

Maverick must have ran wide 10 times. Not sure if it was him going in too hot or the bike not turning for him. Looked definitely to hot a few times and others not. Very interested in seeing what he can do on the Yamaha next year.

I'm sure he has had a lot of coaching on this. It's hard for an extreme competitior to take a 2nd or 3rd, especially when jacked on adrenaline. And in your early 20's.

Good article, it's a shame that someone getting killed bring everything into perspective.
Oh wah, he didn't say he was sorry...get over yourself Jorge
