8th Gen Tail Tidy

As promised. The UK standard plate is still huge in comparison to US and Australian plates but mounted a bit higher on the tail tidy and trimmed to legal minimum size it's not as much of an air-brake as it was.

 

There is now just 1 (lonely!) tail-tidy left from the production batch. Last chance to grab one or potentially miss out!!

At this stage I have no plans to organise another run unless there is a minimum of 12 committed orders.

 

CAM. Received the Tail Tidy in the mail several days ago. I had been out of town so the install just happened. Took all of 10 min.

Also picked up a rad guard. Very quick install as well. It's pretty solid And will def keep the big stuff from smacking the radiator. It's a very tight fit. Probably could have used some more light in the pic.

Works for a 6th Gen or only 8th?

 

Only 8th, it fits into the OE plastics under the rear light which are different on the 6th gen with its underseat cans.

Update: Getting closer to another production run! Feedback from the first run has been universally positive.

Production Run #2 Update:



Reflectors have arrived, laser-cutters are done, assembly and tolerance-testing have been completed. Today it's off to the powdercoater; once he's finished, they'll be ready to send out. As you can see, this batch was for 30 units, half of which are allocated. If you'd like to order one of the available ones, please let me know. If you've already put your name down, I'll be letting you know via email.
