    Over 20,000 miles or maybe more, 32 states, all of Kansas, and every Canadian province besides Labrador and Newfoundland...these gloves have served me well, but aren't cutting it anymore[​IMG]. Detour for new gloves and lubing. [​IMG]

    We will look those over here but she is far better off trying to make it to the US for those. If an oil change is needed, I have the oil and filter on hand. I like to use 3 in 1 all purpose oil. Also. Spent cigarett filters

    So I'm have been in senses overdrive for the last 3 hours. Today definitely made me forget yesterday.

    Have you ever been in the riding zone (in a safe way) with no excessive engine braking, changing gears, road hazards, distractions?

    If you have, you'll know what I mean when I say I've been just in the zone. But this time I felt I was flying through a Bob Ross painting for 3 hours.

    Green forest everywhere, green makes me so perfectly happy, quiet wind, smells of dirt and trees and ocean and campfires, cool breeze in my helmet but body perfectly warm, swaying back and forth through the curves. I'm definitely not a city girl...this forest road was to die for!

    Highway 18 from Duncan, BC to Port Renfrew, then Highway 14 to Sooke was marvelous!

    The road is rough at times, many one lane bridges, and a few switchbacks, but minimal compared to what it has in store. Ride it if you ever have a chance.

    I'm heading into Victoria and going up into Sidney.

    Oh yeah!

    Glad this road turned out better! That is an awesome road. Back to town is nice, but a bit busier. (well, alot, actually) I love the smells on that part of the Island!
    I had the best Halibut, ever, once, in Port Alberni!
    I fell out of a friends kayak at "French Beach" last summer. That water is some cold!
    Well, I'm stoacked that your day went better today! The Faquier,Nakusp,Nelson to Ainsworth, etc., reminds me of this area on the Island.

    Don't know what V has in mind for dinner yet. I can give her a call and I can pick something up on the way home from the supermarket. Maybe we will come across some road kill.

    My son might be home for the night too. He got an unsupervised pass from the asylum for the night. He has this young labadoodle we can skin and put on the bbq if need be.
