    Hi Everyone,
I will be picking my first VFR tonight. It's a 1986 750. hasn't run in 20 years. only 15,000km on it.

    Should be a fun project.

Welcome Scouser. Can't wait to see the bike. Enjoy it all!

Hey an S2R. That has been on my wish list. Awesome bike and I think even simple enough for me to work on.

Well it is a project in the making. Its a shame to see bikes left this way.

Tank is a mess inside. All rusted up.
As mentioned it hasn't run in 20years. Mouse must have been living there for 19 of them. Mouse was in the air box and completly tore up everything inside. Brakes siezed up on rotors. Head bearing very tight.Chain siezed.

Once I got the brakes off it rolled ok. Air box off and vacuumed out. When I start working on the engine will be the fun part. Body work all off ( pretty good shape). In general. The bike is not too bad at all.

Photo's will follow at a later date when I tear it down some more. Hope to have it looking as good as my 1986 FJ 1200 (Stock and Mint)

Way to go! One of the best sounding engine designs ever made, not to mention the huge engineering effort, one of the most reliable bikes ever, as well. Need pictures though!
