How do you know it's not "bravado" sneaking in? Somebody else got the reading on the GPS and your using it as your own for ego purposes. Try and prove that the GPS is even real for the bravado guy........................

Sorry but that's hard to believe with the bags. There is a thing called votex shearing behind the bike that will start to sway the bike from side to side above a certain speed. Like the tail wagging the dog. My bike is very aerodynamically designed and it can't get over 125-130 without getting into a good weave with the bags on. Then it gets uncontrollable. The top box doesn't help or hurt the weave either.

Was this stock gearing and speedo? I would check the accuracy of your speedo. Factory panniers or after market?

    Check it out.

You all want to talk about proof and what's acceptable in court... They'd have to prove it was you that typed the damn message in the first place...

Well, perfectly legal, and quite official  ... and yes, I'm re-living the past . My son/I at a Texas Mile LSR event.

    pitted00.jpg

Hard to make out but 145.4 from standing start at the mile, 134.3 at the 1/2. Speed still climbing approaching the braking zone. Wish I had held the throttle just a bit longer, 149 showing when I backed off (speedohealer in place, speeds displayed matching video of run). Bike basically stock with exception of lighter exhaust, light weight battery, PCIII with base map, and all of 100.1 hp at rear wheel.
    TM13.jpg

Fun thing to do after I turned 60, and it was nice having my son there as pit crew . Next month I hope to ride my old gal to Pikes Peak for the 100th anniversary PPIHC races ... to watch, not participate .

Clearly you haven't been reading what's actually being said. No one is disputing that they can't give you a citation for posting this online.

I don't think, I know. It's happened - and it's usually the other vehicles insurance agency doing the investigation.

Don't believe me? Ask some the lawyers on this forum.

There won't be any slander of libel involved. If an insurance company is on your ass for fraud, their legal staff will see to that and you will never see it coming until it's time to pay up.

Surely you can find someone to rat on anyone in this age of information. This is not exactly free. A fine example of misuse of dough is WonderBread.
