    So i finally saved and got a fairing stay on ebay!
    The Airtech slipped rite on.

    Next... Head lights get fitted. Should happen quick since i dont need to dismantle the bike
    till its ready for the swap!
    looks like my days off are booked.
    Need rivets and a gun!

    Pull the battery out and take it down to a Pepboys or somewhere similar - they can hook it up to a battery load tester and let you know if the battery is weak or not right away.

    If you get a new battery, put it back in again and do the drill one more time to be safe.

    Did you install a voltage meter on that bike so you can see your charging voltage as you are riding?

    It's an easy installation and well work the few deniros it costs ... you'll be able to see the charging system fail and hopefully give you long enough to get to civilization where you can deal with it.

    You'll see mine when you're through and we're visiting. :)
