Jeff I did that trip back in 92 and I rode from Ohio. There's one road you must take from Rapid City to Devils Tower and thats Spearfish Canyon road which is ALT 14! Most likely anybody around there will tell you the same. It's out of Cheyenne Crossing north. Check it out.

You will be right by the geographic center of the 49 states. Just north of Spearfish.

While any measurement of the exact center of a land mass will always be imprecise due to changing shorelines and other factors, the NGS coordinates identify an uninhabited parcel of private pastureland approximately 12 mi (19 km) east of the South Dakota/Wyoming/Montana border. It is recognized by a proxy marker in a park in Belle Fourche,[SUP][2][/SUP] where one will find a flag atop a small concrete slab bearing a U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey Reference Marker.

Can't argue with you on this because I simply do not know. But. There is 15 mg of caffeine per tablet in Tylenol #3. I take these often for a back injury. I know coffee has much more but the caffeine in these Tylenol do not seem to have the same effect on me as the coffee does.

I love my coffee for sure. Expresso actually. By the big mug full thank you very much. Just not when I am traveling or about to go on a hike. Water or milk. I drink 2 big jugs of moo juice a week myself. Regardless of what it is in there, I don't need to stop every 15 minutes for a pee.

I've been on this decapitated old fucking frozen up computer for hours trying to book RV sites from here to there. So it is in the works. If you haven't got good hoppy IPA craft beer, then Standard Lager was my old standby. And cold as a witches tit.

 

We're Canadian. We don't shoot at each other. We go to the bar, drink lots of beer, plunk ourselves down in chairs facing each other, then take turns nailing each other in the face with our hardest punch. First to break the others nose wins. Then we go back to drinking beer...together eh!

too bad you couldnt wait till August and hit Sturgis. I went in 2014. It is full of harleys but its one of those things that you have to go to once just to see what its about.
