Can you imagine that with an open face helmet?!! I think that might knock me off my bike:bump2:
I carry a bottle of water and micro fiber towel, that way if I'm ever thirsty I won't be parched, plus can Clean the bugs off. I don't think that we have near as many bugs in SoCal as in many other areas. Probably hand in hand with how little water we have. (Captain Obvious here)

If you ride between and around the bugs, they don't get on your helmet or bike. Just takes practice......

What's worse than getting bugs all over your helmet?

Putting the helmet on a shelf in the garage, and then discovering later that day that you had created a smorgasbord for the local ant population, who have turned up en masse, and are merrily running in and out of vents, under the liner, hinge mechanism etc.

Now imagine you have that image fresh in your mind on the next ride, and the inside of your ear starts to tickle...
