The white 2006 is "Anjelica" and the orange 700 is... still undecided.

Inside sources inform that SOW has renamed his bike "Donna Trump" after his favorite shemale.

I was going to say sweetheart, and fucking son of a bitch. I actually hung a handle on it when I first got it. Chea Chea. After my long departed grandfather. Not that he and I were especially close cause we were not due to distance. I just liked the sound of it. And it is so Scottish. It compliments to bottle of Highland Park 18 year old I pack when I travel.

Never really thought to name the bike myself ... I think of it more a part of me than another entity.

My 05 was named RHonda, red Honda. The previous owner named my 99 Tara. Still deciding if I want to keep the name.

Nova? In Spanish, the common translation is "no va" ( it doesn't go) Said to be one of the reasons Chevrolet Novas did not sell well in Mexico.

In this bunch, you could name your bike "Myself". IMO it would be gender neutral and PC all at the same time.

Lol, that's hilarious!! The name Nova means food in Hopi, but I like the bit about butterflies the best. The Chevy thing is a story too. I guess it's widely spread and used in business/marketing books as an example of what not to do in foreign markets.

If I had a Harley, I would name it Mrs Gillespie. After my grade 3 teacher. She was a hog too. She didn't like me much.

The drug store Sav-on had a momentary lapse of judgement when they changed their name to 'Osco'. Apparently that is the Mexican slang term used to describe something or someone who is ugly! Didn't do well here in So Cal.

Yep, it's a story. No better or worse than some of the "stories" here.

Got a bud who is a wheel at the Seattle Zoo. He was in charge of the herpetarium for several years. One of the gorillas at the zoo was about to give birth to twins, so the powers that was decided to have a name the baby gorillas contest. One camp decided that the new babies should have African sounding names. The whole thing became a political football. The local papers had a field day printing oot the submissions...

I asked my bud if he had names for the snakes.. "Bill, snakes ain't got fucking names!" BTW, he is a biker too.
