NOPE, been an 8 year drought!!

 

I hope there's someone else out there as happy as I am to see the Blackhawks eliminated from the playoffs! My team (Flyers) are gone as well. Maybe I'll pull for Nashville as the underdog to make a run at it.

I'm still gunning for a Sharks win but I'd much rather they play Nashville then the Ducks next round
Caps v Penguins is going to be an interesting series

Sigh, my Sharks lost. Great season, and even better playoff run. But, and I admit my bias, how did Crosby get the Conn Smythe? Jones should have gotten it, even in the losing effort.

Jones absolutely! even Murray, Letang or Couture were more valuable than Sid
Still, best season the Sharks have ever had so its hard to be too upset, would have loved to have seen Thornton and Marleau lift it though

I'm from Pittsburgh. I get a few of the corporate box tickets from work 2-3 times every year. Crosby played really well yesterday in the finals.

 

Man, how did I miss this thread?! Love Hockey. Love the Kings, hate the sharks glad to see them go all the way and lose it. Ill forever hold a grudge against the sharks and Ryan Clowe, the dirty rotten scoundrel. Bummed we traded away Jones, he is one hell of a goal minder.

 

As a sharks fan I have to say thanks for Jones, pretty sure the kings traded him to Boston specifically so he wouldn't be in the west and come back to haunt them. As for Clowe I can kinda understand that, that bench play would have infuriated me if my team was on the receiving end. I'm just happy the Sharks got redemption against those bastards for the 13/14 playoffs, every time Drew Doughty cries an angel gets it wings

 

If you call this years loss in the first year redemption, I'm ok with that. At least we came out with a cup.

 

Yeah yeah, milk the success of 2 years ago while you still can, maybe throw in a "sharks choke" just to truly cement yourself as a typical Kings fan. This year the Sharks made LA their bitch so I can understand why you would rather focus on the past

 

lol I admit that we didnt do well against the Sharks this year and you guys ripped it through the playoffs. And i cant say only getting to the first round didnt suck. But ive been a kings fan a long time so i know what it feels like to be a fan of a team that doesnt win. Its nothing new to me. but look who im talking to, preaching to the choir :congratulatory:

Got in to them when I was visiting family in the states as a kid in 93. Saw a sharks T-shirt and made my parents buy it because I thought it was the coolest thing ever, been following since
Unfortunately nobody in this country gives a shit about Hockey so all they see is a cool logo

 

You can double as a Cronella Sharks fan. I lived in Australia for 6 months in 2007, in Coogee near Sydney. Loved it out there.
