Anyone know what's happened to VFRD ?

Appears to have been missing all day ! ?

 

I believe they had a server meltdown; no doubt Miguel is hard at work trying to restore the system.

 

Aren't they vbullitin too or does that have an impact? Sorry. I am not techy savy at all.

 

I tried logging in on the 20th, and got the screenshot below, asking me if I wanted to install IPS Community Suite 4. I closed my browser and tried again several times and got the same thing. That seemed quite bad, indeed. Probably someone here who knows more what that means, but I would not be at all surprised if the system got hacked. Hopefully the data, posts and photos were not corrupted or lost - just a matter of re-installing the board software.

 

There are a lot of us that are going to have to go on a 12 step program. "I am a VFR owner and I have a problem . . . " LOL!

 

I think it was sabotage by a competitor forum.

 

There was a hard drive failure on the servers end, nothing on VFRDs end. Miguel posted on FB and said that due to his work schedule it may not be up til next week. Luckily he had a backup of a few hours before the crash, and while he's at it, he said he's gonna upgrade the forum software as well.

 

for &$^*'s sake, does no one use search engines anymore? This EXACT question was posed here in 2008, 2011, etc.. etc.. everytime VFRD has gone gone up in smoke. Noticing a trend...

He would not be tolerated over there in the form he shows us here.

He must be making progress, server must be up and running because Apache (OS) responded that the URL wasn't there (yet).

 

Crazy crazy. don't know what all the fuss is about, shiet man, we have it all right here. other than the TYGA header build, I'm not at a loss. Could you picture Jevs avatar over there?

LOL yea well I got thrown off the site like 8 years ago for one not even close to yours and Jevs.. Took two years before I was allowed back. hence why I'm a bit sour about that site, SMH, no sense of humor what so ever. Now lets add Duccmans for even more fun
