This is the corrosion that reduced the price of the bike.. i figured if it bothers me enough i can take the steel bar off and sand it down and repaint it black again and the aluminum parts i can just sand and polish them down..

 

Congrats on the new bike. Looks like a great deal to me. Few items to touch up and little regular maintenance to do....but that just makes it fun to grab a few beers and work on a new toy to get it just like you want. Enjoy the ride and there is a lot of good info and helpful people on here.

Edit: What brand/model of tires did they stick on there?
