+1 on the pipe, but not as ugly as the VFR1200 stock. DAM on my list, polished end, matte body.

I agree on the pipe! But bags first. Fortunately the Givi bags have quick release bracket so the brackets come off easily when not in use! Yea! I do not mind the black saddlebags and they are bigger and cheaper than the Honda OEM ones!

Rode it home from my friend's shop where we swapped my old bike for the VFR and totally loved it! Although it was new and not broken in, the weather was cold, the tires unscuffed, it was so nice to ride! I cannot wait until the weather warms up and I finish breaking it in and put it through its paces!

I sat on one at the dealer in Grand Forks, ND back in September on my way back to Canuckistan.

 

rebs, did you end up purchasing in Wisco? There were still a few decent deals on some red ones near Milwaukee. I picked mine up in Waukesha. Looks like if we can dodge the rain this week there may be some decent riding weather.

 

I actually ended up getting it from Elgin...which was not the best deal on cycletrader but ultimately ended up as the best deal with my trade included! The lower prices in WI made my trade-in lose value as well. The Elgin dealer got me the smallest differential between my trade and the new bike!
