Handlebar end weight screw will not come loose on left side to put new grip on??

    Usually if the screw is loose all they need is a few good smacks inward, screw should be loose only by a few turns.

    Use a rubber mallet, or some kind of soft layer.

    If this fails then silicone or another very light oil will do it, better using a can with the push-in straw. You must get the liquid started between the rubber plug and inner wall, turn your bar so it's as level as possible.

    If you've turned the screw out far enough to lose engagement with the expander nut, things may be much more difficult... depends on design if you have bar-ends with the integrated inner weight or not.

    This happened on my CBR, left side too, after 2 wasted days in ended up drilling it out, good luck with yours

    I wonder if you were to use an impact driver, maybe things would loosen up. Set the impact low to avoid damage to that screw. Before you replace that screw once it is out, put a dab of Teflon based lube on the threads or maybe some brake never seize.

    Pull off the offending clip-on. Fill up a decent size cup with some PB Blaster or equivalent product. Dunk that bastard in there and let it sit for a while, maybe over the weekend or something and try again.
