The DOT is gonna love that...

Was only a matter of time, I was talking about something like this many years ago!

Now that I've lost most of my 'cool', it does look very twenty-something, so yes the HD boys will eat it right up!

I'm looking into applications other than vehicles for our company. I have to see how longevity is.

I think I have taken it about as far as I care to on my bike. Actually considering getting rid of the #m decals. But that is a little much. I kinda like the helmet idea though. Or maybe some red on the back that is wired to come on with your brakes.

I think my bike needs to pulse in time with the exhaust and speed up with rpm :)

Cool! Glow in the dark zombies on Harleys.. ;)

The guy who was in the Daytona vid looked like he had some of the material on his hands. Some of the shots may have been enhanced with UV lights..

There should be an MSDS on this stuff from the shops selling it or the manufacturer..

Bikewise, squids have been doing this for years.

It looks like once the color coats are and the inverter is connected, one of the automotive type clearcoats is applied. I wonder if each color requires a separate inverter or a greater or lesser voltage.

Also I wonder if the stuff is UV sensitive.

I'd rather have the Airbus than the Harley.. :)

I could think of a few off the top of my head.

    adaptive road signs.
hazard warning markings instead of four way flashers.
    adaptive advertising.
Christmas decorations, that could be applied as a film to roof tops, guttering, etc and just turned off until you need them.
One of my paddling buddies had the word, "HELP" in foot high letters written in the gel coat on the bottom of his kayak in hi vis orange. That would work even better if it glowed. Of course anything electrical in a salt water environment is inherently unreliable unless it's done really, really well.

Or a scary one, unmarked police vehicles that can just turn on their markings, eliminating the need for flashing lights and so on.

Helmets maybe or if the stuff is flexible it could be sandwitched and applied to clothing.

    Tats maybe?

The "paint" is priced out. Anybody find any info on the electrics? More detailed information on application. The vids show using a topfeed HVLP rig and the guy spraying is not wearing the right protection.. Maybe he'll have glow in the dark lungs..

The electrical hookup on wheels might be a little techy. I'm thinking maybe SOW could try some and breed some glow in the dark cats.

I know this isn't a popular place to talk about Harley's but Paul Yaffe, of Bagger Nation, put that paint on a bagger he made about 2 years ago. It's really cool stuff. I worked on a tv show that covered him putting it on and the bike build. Here are some pics of what he did. image.jpg
And this is what it looks like not lit up. image.jpg
