I see no issues here, more a case those Chinese see something here, LOL, it's a great tire. This doesn't make me want to change what I have. Is cool.

 

I'm with SOW. We know they will be making those tires oot of old Chinese or Italian guys.

Article is from March 2015 so they have already owned them for almost a year now.

 

Rumor has it that the way to spot if the tires in question are made in China there is a fortune cookie message that comes in the domestic Chinese issue. This allows the company to hire a shitload of old Chinese guys who write stuff like "You will never tire of our tires" and "Your roads will love our rubber".

If you find one that says, "Help I am trapped in a Chinese tire factory", it may be bogus.

 

I had a set of cheese tires once- absolute garbage -from a cement factory, Rated dead last- un safe at any speed-used by kids because they would slide out at every curve.

 

Were they made from gorgonzola or mozzarella?
The ones made from Coon cheese are not too bad, traction ok and will last maybe 2000km.
