Try posting to YouTube instead of FB.

Depending on your wife's privacy settings, people who are not 'friends' may not be able to see the video.

 

Link worked for me Jay & Jeff. Nice clear picture Jay but I think you have audio issues. There was a very irritating whineing in the background. Can that be edited out?

I am on my android. When I clicked the link, I selected Facebook to open witb. I am linked to fb bere on vfrw. Don't know if that makes any difference.

 

ok Wow thanks OOtv for letting me know as well. really weird, I'll see what I can do, maybe it's a public vs. private thing. Hmm?

 

Crazy thought I could do a drag and drop, nope. So if interested I also put this video on VFRW facebooks page just as a back up. Until I get a newer version of my operating system, thanks Go Pro.. I'll just have to frustrate a lot of you folks in the mean time.

 

I'm now on fixed income so I can't afford the monthky fees for friends. LOL. But seriously, and strangely enough, neither Jay or Jeff are my friends here or on facebook. So don't think that is it. ut uou can link your membership here with a FB account. That have something to do with it.

 

Hmm, I just linked my VFRWorld account with my facebook account and that didn't seem to make a difference. Maybe I'll close the browser and/or reboot the computer and try again...

 

Why not just post to YouTube? Far simpler and better than FB anyways.

 

Weird, rebooted PC and still no luck. Can't say what the issue is. Thought it might have been browser related but that didn't pan out either. Possibly device related, Randy did say he was on his android, unless of course he was talking about a new sex toy!

 

^ On the norm I would have done that Jeff. or Vimeo. Go pro only works with windows 7 or newer, at lest this version of camera I have does. I'm still using a very fine dinosaur that uses Vista. Now My wife's machine has wndows 7, so I used her machine, then when I tried to email the video file to me, it's one to large and even when that's handled I still needed a windows 7 thingamajig to view it directly. but a loop in Face book let me at least get it where I can now see it on my machine, with that it was just a copy and paste thing here. Whats wierd is some can view it, others not so.. I know crazy, but for the time being it's the best I can do for now. I'm still looking at my options other than buying a new computer. I'd rather use my machine over hers, but the curiosity of what I took got the best of me, I wanted to see and how the editing thing Go pro uses works, add to this I have a 4 minute ride to review. It's going to be fun when all done and set up correctly.

 

So if you have an Apple, your shit out of luck with gopro?

Regarding Windows Vista ... I have a machine still running it and it worked. You try downloading an older version of the software or installing the software you have?

Just opened it up on my computer with Vista. The video did default to facebook for what that's worth. Still has that gawd awful whining background noise. Even my hearing aids with the noise blockers for my tinnitus won't get rid of that! Damned Jay. Sorry you have to listen to that shit.
