I hope to earn partial credit by having ridden in today.

Sure, it is better to ride on a day when that ole girl doesn't have to sit out in the cold rain anyways. I had to cage it in today. Heading out with the gf (in her mustang) to Yellowstone tonight, then to Jacksonhole for some whitewater rafting. Looking forward to everything but the crowds!

    Ride To Work

I'm in. My Aerostich gear makes it so easy to commute, rain or shine. I don't much consider the weather when reaching for the bike keys.

My bike was spread out across the garage floor, so not exactly rideable. Only 30 minutes or so to assemble it, but it was also raining, and they're repaving the 2-lane mtn hwy I live on. I stuck to the AWD car...

But I should be able to hit the hardware store and get it assembled today, and get some riding in.

Oh, and in downtown Palo Alto, they have dedicated motorcycle parking spaces on the street. 2 hour limit parking for cars, with colored zones that you can't repark in for the rest of the day. No limits for bikes, so long as you stay in the (many) mc-only spots, which will hold two normal bikes, 3 ninja 250s, or one goldwing, each.

Rode to work for the 1st time yesterday. It was the best part of working. Weather and work schedule permitting, will try to make it a > once/week trip.

Didn't see more bikes in the company parking lot, though...

I rode Wednesday. Didn't see any more bikes than usual. I was hoping to see tons of bikes. They were calling for a little rain, but it turned out to be a nice day.

Way up north of you, San Fran Bay area. Although I will be in SD (sans VFR) at the begining of August for a few days. Visiting a buddy, who does ride, but sadly he rides a Hardly. Although for you Hardley owners out there, he does have a pretty neat side business www.fixmyhog.com
