Red to Orange ... you can see it in the side-by-side photo. Nicely done!

Guess so, my red 8th gen looks orange to my camera in certain strong sunlight. How durable is the vinyl wrapping?

Try shooting a pic of your bike with the white balance on your camera set to "auto". Get a meter reading from elsewhere on the bike.

3M makes great product. How well one works is pretty much up to the user. I think it was one of those old Chinese dudes that said, "You can fix a Rolex with a crowbar but that ain't a good idea."

Installing this film should be approached carefully. The film itself is tough stuff. Where one could go wrong is having leading edges that are subject to wind peeling them back.

Very nice. I'd love to try wrapping something.

Isn't it pretty expensive? If you make a mistake can it be re-positioned?

There's a 3M wholesaler in South Seattle that will sell anything 3M. This is not a retail store and the sales guys work phone banks. Access the main 3M site for specifics, even a sample and know what you want to buy before you go to this wholesaler.

    The answer is "sometimes".

I bought the 5x7 ft wrap from ebay for about $64 so it isn't that expensive (compared to a paint job ),I'm planning on making my girlfriend wrap the entire bike orange as a winter project (she's really good at wrapping for some reason),she wants to get paid in kisses though

SOW has posted on another website asking for instruction on how to wrap his bike in an adhesive wrap. He wants to cover his bike in cat hair including hairballs.
